Yataibayashi Workshop Series
Come learn the patterns for chudaiko and shimedaiko for the stage version of Yataibayashi. This class will teach hitting technique, body conditioning, particular rhythms, and preparation for a possible public performance of Yayaibayashi. A fun and challenging piece of taiko music that will increase strength and skills!
Possible performance at Gay Pride Parade on TAM Asian Queer Float with Mighty Drumming Club.
Must:
Have previous taiko experience
Commit to learn the rhythms at home
(In order to perform) attend nearly all class times, especially June 21 & 28 dates.
Must purchase and bring your own bachi.
